Drug Proving Center At Amravati

Dr D P Rastogi Director, Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy New Delhi has granted permission for a Drug Proving Research Center to be started at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Institute of Homoeopathic Medical Sciences , Bandera Road, Amravati. Dr S A Dhole, Principal has been given additional responsibility as the Honorary Research Co ordinater of thisCenter. This extension unit of drug proving research will stand on its own legs. The financial liability shall be borne by the institute. itself and not by the CCRH.
Research work has already started in the departments of Medicine, Homoeoapthic Materia Medica and pre and Para clinical department have help in the Pretuaells investigation (?) prescribed by CCRH the students of this institution have involved in the drug proving trials. The center was inaugurated at the hands of the Hon Director, Dr D P Rastogi on 20th Feb 1998. But the institution which was established in the year 1954 has adequate infrastructure for college and hospital and imparting degree and post graduate courses.
