Some Cases of High Blood Pressure

CASE 1:

Mr M-59 years, a known Hypertensive, who also had Myocardial infarct in the past; complained of fear of falling due to giddiness on walking: Double vision; oppression in the chest on ascending stairs. Pulse intermittent and irregular at times.

Hypertension and Vascular generation.

Treatment: Aurum-met 10M 2 Doses (12 hours apart) followed by Baryta-mur 3- one dose daily for a month relieved him of his complaints. Blood Pressure was controlled within the range of 140/90.

CASE 2:

Mr M-45 years. Complained of heaviness of head and Palpitation on exertion especially on climbing stairs with choking sensation in the heart region. Slight swelling on both the feet. Goes with mental depression very often.

Blood pressure-180/129 mm of Hg.
Urine Routine Test revealed heavy deposit of Albumin.

Treatment: Calc-ars 200 twice daily for a week and Viscum Album 10 gtt in water twice a day.

Within a week the urine report showed Albumin nil, no swelling in the feet and the Blood pressure reduced and remained within the range of 150/90. The patient relieved of other complaints as well. Calc-ars 200 1 dose a day continued for another 10 days. Viscum album 10 gtt twice a day continued for more than a month.

CASE 3:

Mrs M aged 35 years. A case of Low Blood Pressure 80/50. Bed -ridden with terrible weakness and lethargy.. Pulse weak and almost imperceptible at times.

Treatment: Baryta-mur 30 daily 1 dose in the morning and with occasional doses ofCactus 200 at bedtimes was given.

Within a week she could resume her normal activities and after 3 weeks treatment, BP came to the level of 110/70.
