'Calc-phos

An old lady approached me on 2-10-96 for treating her 9 yr old grandson living in Boston USA, who had facial warts which were chalky white, rough and dry.

The child was described as playful, quarrelsome and very short tempered. He is discontented, thinks something is wrong with this world, and nothing is enjoyable. He is interested in watching television, his favourite being action films, films on cruelty and superman cartoon serials. He hates animals and strangers equally. Music makes him sad and angry. He is good at studies but his teachers always complain of his fights with his schoolmates. He likes outings and picnics, but always at new places. He has perverted desire for chicken. He can eat chicken even thrice a day. He can't digest milk and milk products.

The mother is fat, fair, calm, mild and fearful. She is a loner. His father is a dry and emotionless person, prone to wild actions. He only eats, drinks and orders and his orders must be obeyed at all costs.

His mother could not return to India and had to bear with her husband for 16 long yrs. During this period she gave birth to this child, who inherited all the bad habits of his father. In my findings I felt that the mother had reacted during pregnancy in the form of this child, who bears all habits of his father.

He becomes so violent that he breaks things like TV and other household articles. I realised that the child breaks shining things like glass articles. In his act of breaking things he shows his discontent towards this world as well as himself.

I got symptoms of this patient from his mother and grand mother but have never seen the child so far. Keeping all these observations, I prescribed Tuberculinum 200 one dose and after a month Cal-phos 200 one dose. They reported after 3 months, that facial warts had fallen. Child was milder, more disciplined. His craving for chicken was reduced considerably and could digest milk and milk products. He was less violent and his taste for TV programmes markedly changed. He was more co-operative with his parents and was on placebo for 4 months and then treatment was stopped.
