The Snake Girl

A 7 year old girl was brought by her mother with complaints of recurrent tonsillitis and a white spot on her thigh. She had a craving for indigestible things. Appetite was poor right from infancy. No urging to pass urine or stool and so had to be forced to go to the toilet. She took milk only after a lot of force. Satisfied with a few hours of sleep. Fond of music, dancing and singing. She likes to paint and loves bright colours. Her favorite colour is red. Very restless and obstinate. If contradicted, she would threaten to stop eating.In March 93 she had a sudden stiff neck which passed off in two days. An episode of sudden blindness for a few hours was also present afterwards. She loves animals. When she was taken to a zoo she took a snake around her neck, which she was not ready to give back.
