Exhilarating Memories of Hecla-lava

'Hecla

An anxious mother brought her depressed daughter, who had lost all hopes of her marriage due to abnormal looseness of her teeth at the age of twenty. All the dentists advised her to wear dentures after extraction of all her teeth. The melancholic maid could not agree to pass all her life with that flasehood.

I tried to instill courage in that girl and selected Hecla-lava, the ash of the volcano from mount Hecla. I had read the adventure of Garth Wilkinson in Iceland who discovered exostosis in the jaws of sheep in the vicinity of Mount Hecla. Analysis of the ash of the lava revealed the existence of silica, alumina, lime, magnesia and oxide of iron. This further convinced me that the ash had all the elements to do something for loose teeth. I prescribed trituration of Hecla-lava 3x internally as well as for rubbing the teeth and gums mixed with chalk dust as tooth powder.

After a month, the sad and depressed girl came in a jovial mood to show me her teeth, which were firmly set in the cavities of her gums. This was an exhilarating experience indeed!
