Homoeopathic medicines often give quick and good results in acute conditions even in dental problems provided the physician does his job of finding the right remedy in time.

On 25/1/97, a male patient aged about 65 yrs was referred to me, by a dentist with profuse bleeding from gums 1 day after extraction of 2 Lt upper molar teeth. The patient came to me in agony because of the profuse bleeding. I asked him about the color of the blood, he said it is bright red. There were no other symptoms or signs and the patient was not a diabetic.

I gave him Phos 200 1 dose and SL for 3 days and told him to report on the next day. He came the next day with a delighted face as the bleeding had come down, it was still there but negligible. I told him to continue the medicines and to come on the next day. He came on the next day and the bleeding had totally stopped.
