Life Situation: Born 1978, Eldest of 3 siblings.
Fa 50 yr, Pharma industry, busy with his work Mo 40 yr, housewife, very open, and very close to the patient. Brothers: 20 & 16 yr. Patient, being the only daughter, is pampered. A year back, her brother's friend but also her classmate, became very close to her, so now Brother does not like him! He studied with her in T Y B Com; did his T Y Bcom and now is working with his father who is in Pharmaceuticals. Nice guy, affectionate and giving; is very nice to her. She is spoilt silly, so finds the idea of giving very difficult. Now with him working, his time schedule has become very tight; he is not able to find the time to do things for her like he used to and now expects her to take on that role, but she cannot. Also she is not able to meet him frequently because of time shortage; now they are fighting a lot and she is very depressed. So she eats more and has put on weight and gets acidity. She does not like herself anymore, so she sleeps more and wakes at 12! "If I am sleeping, I cannot eat" she reasons with her illogical logic!

She is very conscious of her looks and now hates to look at herself. All this has now become a cycle- what with her allergic sneezing, her eating, and her weight and her unhappiness.

Daily Schedule:
Wakes 12 noon so that if asleep does not eat!
Plans day. TV
2-4pm Computer
4-6pm Gym
Library
Walk, drive ½ hr.
TV/ computer till late night.

After the discussion with us, her Homoeopathic doctors, she put her life in perspective: started to wake up early, started work outs, getting more regular hours. This was on the physical side. Emotionally also she gave some thought to the compatibility; and on 15/6/99 broke off with boyfriend, mutually. This definitely showed a maturity and a willingness to become independent.

Mind: Brooding, cries for trivia, moody3, attachment with family, wants to be in company, anxious about her weight and her looks.
Weather: Likes outing, likes open air.
P/H-To add
F/H- Mo: severe PMS

Remedies After Repertorial Filter
Ars 7/12; Bry 4/8; Calc 7/11; Kali 6 /11; Lach 5/9; Lyc 7/17; Nat 6/12; Phos 6/16; Sul 7/15

Selection Of Remedy: Constitutional: In the reportorial working of the case, Calcarea and Phos both came high. Patient is Phos type - fair and good looking and affectionate. The Calcarea element was that she was slow, dull and lazy with early graying. Calcarea-phos therefore was selected as the remedy. The intercurrent remedy was Tub as the dominant miasm was tubercular with allergic rhinitis, early graying and frequent colds.

Acute : Puls was selected for being chilly, yet liking open air and swelling and bloated feeling and being thirstless. Mind: leaning, demanding, selfish.

The patient was well till 10-10-99 when she was again given the IC and C and the case is under observation. Her life is under control. She wakes early by 7 am, has a full day, works out everyday at aerobics, spends only a little time on TV and surfing. Even her dress sense has undergone a change. She no longer wears her very skimpy clothes of aerobics to the clinic. Most times she stays happy, except during sneezing attacks when she gets very irritable and during her PMS. Over a period of time, we except this too, to lessen considerably.
