Case 99: Oh! Doc my Heel hurts me!

ABSTRACT: This case is one of calcaneal spur which responds very well to the homoeopathic treatment especially is the result quick if the patient follows the auxiliary measures of special shoes and slippers and of hot /cold soaks for 30 mins a day.

Mrs PVS, 46yrs old, Vegetarian Hindu Maharashtrian, Married works as a CTO in Bank, came on 05/02/04 with the following complaints, mainly the hip pain.

STOOL: 1/day.
URINE: 5-6/day
MENSES: FMP →Apr 1971. LMP → 25/01/2004 Regular, Heavy flow, Black. 3/23-24 days cycle. Back pain at the beginning of menses > Yoga.
BATH: Tepid water
THERMAL: C2H3. Wears tight clothes, Needs covering, Likes open air, fan, breeze and warm room <.
SLEEP: 7hrs. Refreshing
DREAMS: Works which are not finished
MIND: Reserved, Alone >. Timid, Irritability at rifles, Anticipation, Anger violent, Fastidious, Courageous

1983→1st FTND. Spotting so bed rest advised. Hearing defect in child
1987→ Abortion at 3rd month
1989 → FTND

LIFE SPACE INVESTIGATION: The pt is monosyllabic! She talked so little and answered in just one words. She was born in 1958 in Mumbai. Wehre she spent her childhood. She is the 3rd among 4 ie 3 sisters and 1 brother. Fa was a Scientist in BARC and Head of the division. He was very disciplined, strict and punctual. Mo was cool and understanding. All the siblings are very close to each other. She got 74% in SSC and 58% in B.Com. In 1980 met her H would-be who was working in the same bank as hers. H was from the lower middle class and poor. H had hatred for girls due to his past experiences in the college. She proposed to him in 1982 and they married same year. H’s parents were not ready but her parents had no objection. But later the in-laws accepted her as the H was the eldest and the only earning member in the family. It was a joint family. In 2001 the family broke up and gradually all the members got separated. She delivered one deaf child who studied in a Dadar school.
